I am about ready to throw my computer out the window. Word
tables can be so frustrating sometimes.
I am trying to do a simple table where the text in each
cell is located all the way at the bottom of the cell,

I created a document with tables in Word 2002 using a
custom template. I made changes to the tables such as
deleting rows. The document is fine in XP. If someone
with 2000 opens the document, the deleted rows display as

I'm working on the expercise in Step by Step Word 2002
page 80 for text to table conversion. When you change the
column #, the row #'s change automatically.  The table
that you get has too many rows and is incorrect and

My document has suddenly started moving rows onto the next page.
I've checked the only two reasons I know for this:
Format/Paragraph/"keep with next".  This is NOT ticked.
Table/table properties/"allow row to break across pages"  This IS ticked.

a way to do date functions within table cells.  For
example, if October 11, 2003 is entered into a form; I

Does anyone know how to lock a table within a field(s)?  
A customer has a form setup in a table format and needs
specific fields to be locked to prevent editing.  I
attempted to insert a field inside the table and
columns are too narrow after paste from excel in word 200206 Dec 2003 10:46 GMT1
When a copy is done from part of an Excel spreadsheet and
pasted into word 2000, the format is exactly the same as
it is in Excel.  However, when part of an Excel
spreadsheet is pasted into word 2002 (Office XP), the

customer needs to lock areas inside a table to prevent
the form fields from being changed and anything outside

Does anyone know of an easy way to convert (or save as) a
table in a word document to a TIFF?
I am trying to place tables in a PageMaker file and they
beed to be in TIFF format for my publisher.  Any ideas?
