On a MS Word table that is longer than two pages, how can I keep the
first row with the first header? It wants to put the first row on a
new page.

I have one document that keeps prompting me to save
changes, even if I just open a document and then close it
without making changes. I seem to have narrowed it down
to a table. If I delete the table, the prompt does not

I have built a Word template and created documents based
on it. I am perpetually having problems with tables. When
the template is applied to pre-existing documents based
on the Normal.dot, ever cell in every table becomes

  I just pasted two table rows from Excel 2002 into a Word 2002 table,
and found that, for the first time ever, I have a slightly darkened (or
thickened) horizontal gridline above and below the pasted rows.  It
disappears with the other gridlines when I do Hide Gridlines.

I am trying to get auto numbering with levels (like a list
or outline) in table cells.  The numbering button yields
only one level of numbers, but I am looking for four
levels.

that spell checking does not work when typing in free

enable spell checking in a form field in a table?
