Word XP with a laser printer. Cells that are shaded - the shading appears in print preview - do not print out that way. Am I missing an option/setting to tweak?

I've been trying to join tables (vertically) in W2k. Both tables have the same configuration and I've removed all blank lines in between the 2 tables. Any ideas, please? (It was much easier in WordPerfect!)
