Linked excel table loses borders on update27 Mar 2005 10:28 GMT2
I have a Word doc with an embedded (linked) Excel worksheet. There's no
formatting on the Excel worksheet, and I apply formatting in Word. When I
update the field, my formatting (as applied in Word) is preserved, which is
good.

I sent an autoshape to the back behind one row of the table, blue filled
rectangle to make the row stand out, and now can't click on it to delete it.  
I also formatted the autoshape to be behind text so moving the table out of
the way to reach it doesn't work - the shape moves ...

I have a document that has a table at the top of the page.  I need to insert
a line of text, outside of the table, to provide a heading for the Document
Map to detect (I've discovered that the Document Map doesn't pick up the
'headings' that are inside a table).

Shading dialog box for a table. I'm starting over because my normal.dot

I am trying to help somone align adjoining, separate table column entries in
a resume.  The "At" measurements are in tenths and text in one column might
be at 3.3, but text in the adjoining column is 3.4, etc.  Trying to adjust
them so that they are even seems impossible because ...

I want to create a table then freeze the size of the cell and the formatting
of it and then be able to type in the cells.  When they are full it should
stop taking input.
