Is it possible to automatically insert page numbers when you click File|New
to create a new Word document?

I have a table using =sum(above) and have even tried =sum(b2:b11) to
automatically update the values. I have to lock and protect this form and
therefore do not have the option of Autosum, or F9. I need to have this cell
update itself as it is entered in the table.

I am trying to orient text so that it appears behind the table (that is,
instead of auto-fitting to the row or column, have it extend beyond the
row/column boundaries). I have tried to go to "draw," "order" and "text wrap"
but this is grayed out.

I searched for the following but didn't come up with anything. Perhaps I
searched using the wrong phrase(s)?

I am using Word 2000 to create templates for a manual.   I have one nested

When I change column size by moving the line with the cursor, sometimes the
program changes other columns as well, despite the fact that they are the

I have a document with 2 or 3 levels of nested tables and I would like to
remove or change one or more of the outer layers back to text.
I can't find any guidance in the Word help files as to how to nest or

When I create a new custom table style, based on Table Normal and I go to
change the font property (selecting a new font) it shows in the preview pane
as if it has stuck but when I use the table style the underlying default
Normal Font style shows through.
