I see grid lines in a Word table and I can hide or show grid lines but they
will not print.

Office word 2003 - i have clicked on table heading row repeat but my heading
row is not repeating.  Please assist.

If for example cells have been merged and/or split and subsequently need to
be split again - sometimes the cell border does not line up with the cell
border immediately above or below. The only way I have found to do this is to:

Is there a way to automatically repeat the word "continued" at the bottom of
a multiple-page table of contents? It would work something like Header Rows
Repeat but at the bottom of the page instead of the top.

I have a table in a works document.  In columnn 1, I have topics, in column 2
is the date (ie August 12, 2005),  column 3, is to show the day of the week
(ie Monday)

I need the page # and the # of pages in a document to display like a toolbar
at the bottom in Word.  I am not able to determine what page I'm on if the
document itself doesn't have page #'s.

How to you make a table break across pages?  I don't want to split the table;

In a table cell (and even when not in a table), I have four ruled lines
where users can--using the Forms mode--insert description text. The problem
is, when in Forms mode and when entering text, two things happen:

I'm having trouble sorting text by column in a table, using either the
toolbar button or the table menu.

I'm using mail merge to populate a table. The table will run to several
pages.
I want to limit the number of rows to a fixed count, say 20 rows per
page.

I had a TOC that was working fine.  Now, when I update it, additional tab
stops get inserted so that the page numbers are no longer right aligned, and
the leading ... disappear.  I can clear the additional tab stops in Format |
Tabs..., but when I update again they are reinserted ...

I have an existing document that I want to add a TOC to.  The entire
doc is currently normal, and has several continous section break so
that I can have different headers for different sections.

the table, then to the top of column 2 and go down to the bottom, then up to
the top of column 3 and go down to the bottom, and so forth, instead of
across the first row of each column and then to the ...

in previous versions of Word, numbering inside table can be chosed row by row
, or column by column.
In 2003, this function can not be found.  Numbering can only be sideway, ie.
1st in top one, then 2nd in the next right cell, and so on.
