When I resize a table column in Word, I drag the border to where I want it to go, but then most of the time Word then changes the column width to something entirely different - usually it's worse than before I did the resize! Is this some automatic "helpful" feature that I can ...

office 2003 sp2 and wxp pro sp2, when i'm typing inside a cell witihin a table, sometimes when i hit the right margin of the particular column, the column would moves to the right to accomodate the text rather than the text itself warping around the next line

It should be possible to prevent a small table from breaking across pages. There is an option to prevent a row in a table from breaking across pages, but there is no similar table option to keep the entire table together. There should be that choice.

I would like to be able to fix my table so that it does not resize when i type in each cell. I have already tried unticking the automatically resize to fit contents box but this doesn't seem to have set the cells not to change. Please can someone help me!? Thank you
