When it gets to the end of the line, if there is not enough room for the
complete word, it finishes it on the next line instead of taking the whole
word to the next line.

I am designing a page layout with 3 text columns on the page and am having
problems with the behaviour of tables with those columns.
When I create a tabe the outer margins of the table are created in the
gutter of the text columns - this is so that the text *within* the table

I cut and pasted a table into my word document and told it to up update the
link upon opening, but now I've realized that I don't want it to.  How do I
tell it to stop updating?

With Word 2007, on several documents I have numbered Heading 1 with
