I'm using Word 2007, and making changes and review comments on a modest
document (around eight pages). The document is mostly comprised of a single
table with multiple rows. Nothing fancy.
I have Track Changes on, as we're passing the doc back and forth with updates.

(Word 2003).  I created a table (Table>Insert>Table), highlighted all cells,
right-clicked and selected "Cell Alignment".  From the resulting display of
alignments, I selected the cell in the middle row, on the left.  I expected
that this would mean text within my table cells ...

I hate the new versions - when I called, I was told that the 2010 version
goes back to many of the ways of doing things in the older versions.  Well,
it DOESN'T.  You still have a bunch of tabs to look through for what you want
and then, half the time, I still can't find it.  ...

I want to hide some tables in a Word doc and almost seem to be able to do it.
If I define a para style and make the font in the style Hidden and then
select the para before the table, the table itself, and the para after the
table and tag it with the style, everything I want to ...

I've made a table.  I want to be able to click the cell and have it
automatically put an X without typing anything.  Is that possible?  If so,
how do I do it?

My cell size keeps expanding to fit the data.  I need to lock the size.

VERY FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trying to use Avery template for address labels, typing desired address in
top left hand table field, then trying to duplicate in the rest of the sheet
without losing the template graphics.  Avery gives no clue on how to do.  

I have tried to create a new table style, modifying an existing autoformat
style to my specifications, but it will not accept my font size changes.  I
don't WANT 12 point font in my tables, but every time I try to change font
size to 10, the program fails to accept the new number ...

Word does not appear to check spelling in tables.  Is there an option to
change this and if so, where will I find it in the application?  Thanks.

How do I activate the position button in Table Properties, Table?  It is
sometimes greyed out.

How can I remove the blue lines that show a change or addition to a table
field?  The document is not protected and the 'track changes' option is not
selected.
