I must process web pages that were saved from Word 2000. I'd like to use XSLT but I must make sure pages content type is XHTML instead of the default one, HTML4. There are some differences in HTML4 that make content invalid for XML processing.

when i type my code and save as html with word 2000, then open with explorer 6 it shows up with the code same as on the word file. in other words the tags are showing up. any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.
