We want to create a link on our web page so when you click on it - if you have MS Word it will open. Currently Word is opening in a browser window, how do we get the program to open? Any ideas?

I am using Word to create a web page, mainly because I want to use the table sorting feature. There is a link that refers to a URL address. I want to add more tags to the href such as target="_blank" onClick="javascript:PlayerOpen('my song',this.href);

I downloaded the template at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC010001131033.aspx and when you edit it the background is white, but as soon as you email to someone or open it up in a web page the whole background goes blue and makes

Background: I have an HTML frame window that is presenting a word document through a standard plugin for the user. Question:Does anyone know if there is a way of forcing HREF links in IE5.5+ into MS-Word .doc's to view the Word document in Print Layout
